Yeah, and I think a lot of people are going to say yes, and a lot are going to say no here too.

I ran them, I heard a lot of good things about them. I liked the Works even with no rezzies better.

IF that's all you can afford, they are better over stock. If your just being cheap don't you will be even happier with a shock that is the correct length, and valved and sprung for your weight and style. Like I said, I even like my Works non-rezzies better. I didn;t run the YFZs for that long, but they do make the bike sit higher, and they could be bad for the ball joints over time.

there is more for it then against it. a search proves that.

if your decision is based solely on that, then yes, go for it.

otherwise, you have several other factors to consider. price/budget/use.

personally, i was pleased with them! much improved over stock.

Don'y worry about the ride hieght... mine only sat about 1/2" higher than stock... and it wasn't noticable without a tape measure

I'd say get some and try them.... if you don't like them just sell them again

But also remeber when you are looking for some, the 04's are pretty stiff with stock a-arms... the 05's got a little softer and the 06's got softer yet... I had 06's and they were great

When is some one going to do a thread on a banshee/450 engine, frame, or swing arm swap?

there have been a few people on here who have swapped a Banshee engine into a 450... I think that would be the ultimate machine... that's what Yamaha should be building... IMO

I am thinking of doing the 2006 shocks, but the prices on ebay are only $75 less than the works steelers with no resevoirs.

What do you guys think of the yfz shocks compared to the works no res. steelers?
