lastlegwarrior
Yeah sorry if this has already been posted. I was just wondering who takes supplements out there and what they're taking. I'm taking NOxplode, Cellmass, and Protein. Also if you got any good suggestions post'em, i'm always looking for something to try.
differentstrokes
I use to buy all kinds of stuff, but now I just stick w/ protein powders. I realized after awhile that I was focusing on the supplements and not my regular diet. Diet is number 1, then supps. If I try anything in the near future it'll probably be CE2 and NO2. I've tried just about everything out there but the juice. I do like some of the energy drinks they sell at the gym.

I try to keep it in check but sometimes pulling all-nighters those late night Mickey D double cheeseburgers get me. ::

And your neighbors were comming to bitch at you??? YIKES! :yelrotflmao: Iam just now trying to get back into working out and all that so since we are on the topic I would appreciate some advice... Looking to build a little, but more than anything Iam looking to cut.. Last two weeks I have been trying to run/walk a mile a day or everyother, and last week hit up the gym 2-3 times.. Plan on hitting up the gym 3-4 times a week and gonna try to run a mile or so in the morning and at workout in the future.. I have tryed to cut out burgers and shit that I know is straight up fatty.. Still some thing I need to cut out of my diet but right now Iam just trying to get on the right track.. Right now I have like some sort of power bar and a Sobe no Fear or juice in the morning.. Ham sandwich and baked lays potato chips with water for lunch.. And dinner varies allot but I try to be wise about it and drink like tea or something with whatever I get. I try to stay away from stuff thats deepfried.. I would like to get to where in the morning Iam doing Juice(not THE juice-lol) and like oatmeal and a bananna, lunch pretty much stay way it is, and try to be better yet on dinner also.. So whith all this what would you recomend? Iam at 5'9 -5'10 and 190lbs in the gym.. Biggest thing is I'd like to cut off this little gut I got going replace it with somthing nicer  and just look more defined all around.. Any help would be appreciated.. What suplements would you recomend, as well as work out and diet pointers.. Ill do whatever it takes to make this process easier-LOL... It's alright to have a little sugar right after you workout. Replace them with vegetables and complex carbs like oatmeal, whole wheat bread, and brown rice. Ditch the salt, it makes you retain water so you'll look bloated. Up your protein, aim for 1 gram per pound of your bodyweight. Tuna, egg whites, chicken/turkey breast, fish, and lean beef or pork. A local gym owner was Ms. Alabama a few times (women's bodybuilding) and knows her shit so I would have her make me a diet for around $20 with all the guess work taken care of with a grocery list and all. Anyway, no deep fried shit. Try to eat something small every 3 hours to keep your metabolism going. You'll probably get irritable from dieting so caffeine helps out big time. As far as your workouts, your best bet is to start reading up. Take a trip over to the book store and buy a few mags and a maybe even a real book. There are tons out there, I could go on all day about different routines but you should start with something fairly basic. Hope this helps. fastrthnu
the best way to stay lean the way I see it,. you dont have to eat super clean, but you have to 3/4 of you intake. If you can first thing in the morning is wake up have some water or oj then go for a jog or run,... get your heart rate up. then get home and have some simple bioavailable food with some complex carbs like oatmeal n eggs prefered 4-6 egg whites with 1-2 yokes. the breakdown and the morning jog will get your metabolism burning like a furnace for the rest of the day. You somewhat want to stay hungry all day, but far from starving. I like to have a solid meal, then supplement meal all day one then the other. Solid food all day will make you to full. To much food at once, alot will waste or store as fat. You should break up you meals into 6 smaller ones throughout the day so you use what you injest more effeciently. when you workout separate you body parts in workout and dont do the same ones in less than 72 hours. I do one body part once a week. Gives it more time to heal before breaking it down again. I dont like super low carb diets. Carbs are needed for energy. Only caleries and simples carbs should be taken in moderation. My diet is different though, because I never really try to slim down, my body stays at 12%bodyfat or lower,. Im always eating just more than I needthat is to continue bulking. There is some simple info. www.bodybuilding.com is a site ive been a member of a long time that is full of usefull workout n suppliment info. Thanks again guys this is makin sence and seems like acheavable goals .. RIPPEN
differentstrokes
If your going to drink the sobe, get the sugar free ones. Instead of the powerbar try some of the higher protein ones. Walmart sells all kinds of quality ones now. I personally like the meso-tech bars and the detour bars too (taste just like a snickers). Another big help is water, if you can down a gallon throughout the day it will make a big difference. You'll feel better and your metabolism will be elevated, but you'll piss like crazy. BigRed350x
I do most of my working out at work. Lifting heavy shit all day long and stuff. Then I come home and I'm a total bum. Sit around on the computer all evening and don't really do jack. Been between 190 and 200 almost all my life since high school and I don't ever build muscle mass or lose weight. I've tried lifting in the past and did notice a little difference, but not much. Still didn't change my weight any. I'm pretty happy just being me, and the girls I end up dating like me pretty much just who I am. As long as the girls in my life are happy cuddling up with ol squishy big red, then I'm happy.
