jbooker82
Cool beans...I saw a picture of I **think** Jbooker's bike (not 100% sure) with CPIs....and they looked really, really cramped. It wasnt mine. I have had FMF SST, and now Toomey T5's. I had Pj 34mm carbs and switched to PWK 33 mm carbs. I didnt like the Idle adjustment being on the choak. I ran mine with an air box but got rid of it now. Just give it some time you will start out with the air box and will ditch it sooner or later. It is a real pain in the butt to run with aftermarket carbs. It seems like it takes a hammer and a big prybar to get it in there and take it out. I would deffinatly run some reed spacers if your going to use UPP boots like dajoger said, or a boss racing intake. Those move the carbs around so the LH Carb bowl bolt wont hit the clutch arm. Dont have the bolt hole welded up on the bottom of the LH Carb. If you do then you have to take the whole float bowl off to change the main jet. Other wise you just take it out with a 17mm wrench and change the main jet out with the float bowl still on.
Lethaface
Thanks for the advice  ..getting the carbs in is not a problem anymore..I had the 2 tabs where the airbox bolts on moved back about a 1" to compensate(sp) for the bigger carbs..Them babies will slide right in now
