DG Pipes

Recommended Posts

If you can find DG pipes for less than 200 bucks in pristine shape, then I'd say go for it.

Otherwise, for 300 or less, you can find T5 pipes or FMFs, which...most will tell you will outperform and sound better than DGs.

ANYTHING is better than stock, but if pipes are all you're gonna get...might as well get ones that perform a little better on a stock motor...just my .02.

DG pipes came on the banshee I bought 4 years ago, it had nice smooth power throughout the powerband. They're definitely not the best, but they did the job back when I couldn't afford new pipes. I upgraded to T5's and could definitely see a difference between the two, but nothing dramatic. T5's are a better pipe if you can afford to find a set, but the DG's will do well if you're on a budget

Work!

My first set of aftermarket pipes was DG. I changed them for DMC 916's, I see a diffence but nothing dramatic like Bigboy said. If you dont have 500$ spend for T5 or others and you have a good deal for DG, take it.
