TORS eliminator kit

Recommended Posts

My left one fell out. :banghead: Its the only time I've been happy my slide stuck WOT (made me check everything over good & found it missing before it seazed  ), after everything settled & became un-puckered :yelrotflmao:

Anyway my question is can i just go to the steelership,, or are the ones in the kit different (bought my shee with it already on it ??)

It was obviously sucking air , but you couldn't tell ,ie lean, (until the dirty air stuck my slide) it all looks good though, plugs, compression, pulled pipes & piston & cyl's look good. I also sprayed ether on the eng prior to ridding & no changes (& it wasnt clogged, you could hear it sucking, after the fact when I found it, I sprayed it again to double check) I thought the RPM's would change? I try to remember to spray it down & check intakes for cracks regularly but I guess thats not enough? what do you guys check pretrip ,any input would help.

You can get just the idle screws from Vitos...but, I still think you have to buy them in a pair...

Doubt the stealership would have 'em...

um...or not.

ok this will sould really okey and like you would be riggen some shit up, but i am pretty sure it would work. Just go to the hardware store take the screw that you have fine a bolt that matches the threads and get a locking nut. Go home and go to the grinder and match the bitch from the screw that you have i would do it with the nut you just bought on it that way you can just unscrew it to clean up the threads. It sounds stupid I know but I am pretty sure it would work. So, anyone that wants to tell me im stupid thats fine.

Dude...it's a 6 dollar item...plus shipping.

Thinking like that is why you wound up with a broken L2..whatever the hell that is.

:banghead:

Thinking is the key word!!! I guess you dont do that yourself. I guess anyone with a banshee that isn't stock would have to be not thinking because someone had to have worked on the bike and made something theirself for once?? Go figure...just a dunb ass i guess.

I am all for making things for your bike. Just not high precision brass pieces that could cause me to die if they made a carb. stick open. If you would like to make one for yourself, go for it. I just wouldn't reccomend it to anyone else.
