I bought the truck with the lift already under it not my choice. It has been a pain in the ass keeping ball joints under it with the full throttle suspension lift. I did update to cognito upper control arms. Anymore promblems it will be converted to straight axel. This is my other ride I just sold wish I still had ite8e3asuq.jpg

I have a RCLB 1986 that I want to lift like this... If you get time maybe you could PM me some details on how you lifted that truck?

Brings back memories of mine. Except yours is a lot nicer! 1980 with a decent small block. 350hp 383. 38's. 1/2 ton running gear!

Hunting/fishing ride I used to have. Father in law bought it brand new and used it as his Vet truck for farm calls. I rednecked it. Gutless 305 TBI with 3" body lift, cranked torsion bars, and 2" blocks in the rear. 33x13.50 LTB's.

So the tailgate is welded shut? I know you'd probably never haul anything in it anyway but I don't see why you'd weld it.

cuz its bagged, probly a big c notch compressors and tank back there. Not used for hauling shit, used for looking bad fukin ass! Thats my guess.

All this Chevy C/10 talk, here's my barn find. Wasn't hard to find, it's in my barn...I haven't driven it since '96, chopped to the top in '91, don't even know how long I've owned it.

Dennis I would gladly relocate that to my barn if you want to part with it?
