They look like the same tire, and they may be just as good but only time will tell. $99 for just the tires is kinda high for off brands since you can get Skat Trak's mounted on wheels for $199 shipped to your door over at RMATV. Anybody have any experience with them? They appear to be the same construction as my Haulers as far as being a buffed wheel with 8 paddles vulcanized to the carcass. I've heard the term "B2B"...what is that/what does it mean? Are some tire manufacturers buffed more that others? One guy on eBay that wanted $220 (just for tires) for his "only used twice" Haulers stated that his were B2B and were therefore, more expensive than the "regular ones." The rubber in my Skat-Traks have some cracking and even though it may be OK, I wanted to replace them. FBC also has a set of Front tires by the same company that look like the Mohawk style...for the same price. Thanks for replying,,,, Jay From SanD. B2B = Bead to Bead It basiscally means that it is buffed all the way from bead to bead as opposed to just on the crown of the tire like a normal Hauler paddle tire is. Bead to bead tires are lighter and tend to be more expensive. They have to be ordered from Skat Trak directly or through a sand tire specialty shop. They are porbably best suited for drag racing as the tire carcass durability obviously goes down with an increase in material removal. You may also hear of doubl;e and triple buff which refers to how many passes were made over the carcass in the buffed area. :thumbsup: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
