I found the Works Performance A-T Steeler Front Shocks (+2) at Rockymountainatv for $349.99 and From the look of it these might be my new Shocks, However before i purchase these i want to know how do they perform at small MX jumps?

I used the Stock Shocks for a while in MX and they are a bit bouncy the front end always falls first due to lack of travel, I think these might be my next set of shocks.

Last but not least does anyone know where i can get these for a cheaper price ?

Thank you in advance, I really appreciate it if someone can shed some light on this

Do yourself a favor and get them direct from Works. They wil cost a bit more, but they will set it up for your exact weight, riding style and tire size.I rebuilt and revalved alot of works shocks in the past.IMO they are the easiest shocks to work on.The tech at Works performance made it real easy. They are not the best shocks on the market, but if their set up right they will work great for most applications

Also, how smooth you are can make a hugh diffrence in how your shocks feel. If your smooth with your landings, youl probly never bottom out. Its the rough landings that really test the shocks. For light mx though, the works will be fine

Will works shocks be a huge improvement over stock for trails and some jumping? My banshee beats the hell out of me so I was looking to buy shocks for trails.Just rather not spend over 500$

What about Yfz shocks for Bumpy trails and jumps?

I hated riding on stocks. Felt like my arms wanted to rattle out of their sockets. I got me a pair of YFZ shocks & +2+1 A Arms. YFZ shocks work very well & roll very smooth over all the rocky crap. Biggest jump I tried was about 6 ft & had a smooth landing without bottoming out. You can find YFZ shocks from $100 to $200.
