q8banshee3883 Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 I had them on my banshee for a year and a half now and they are impressive I might aswell change the OEM dunlop front tires for Maxxis MX Razr's, Kendla Klaw MX or Itp Holeshot MX tires. The tires have good tread for Trail riding, Sand and Especially MX they are GBC Shredder R/A, The only downside to them that they are heavy compared to the other tires on the market and it 20'' in height, I usually see many 19'' on the back. I have 19'' stock dunlops on the front that are going to be changed for 20'', What I also like about the GBC shredders that they took the beating have them for nearly a year and a half and they punctured a couple of times and got them fixed at a local tire shop and they are still going strong! I reccomend these tires for anyone in the market for aftermarket tires, Well worth the price and handles well Quote
q8banshee3883 Posted December 28, 2006 Author Report Posted December 28, 2006 here is a picture comparing the tread of the oem dunlops left and the GBC shredders on the right Quote
differentstrokes Posted December 29, 2006 Report Posted December 29, 2006 I liked the shredder rears pretty well, but I didn't care for the fronts to much. Seems like the ridge in the middle kept them from digging in. Kind of like the standard razr fronts, it would slide or drift a little to much for my liking. Quote
q8banshee3883 Posted December 29, 2006 Author Report Posted December 29, 2006 yeah, I understand what you mean. I got them for free my brother ditched them for other wheels and I got them. The problem is that my front Dunlops are in great condition and I think they will last longer, If I was going to get a Front Tire it wheel be an MX specific Tire. Thankfully the banshee's is riding well just need the carbs to be cleaned it was stored for a long time and I got to change the Plugs this week they were fouling real bad.
