i wouldnt base your decision off of good pricing. i could offer to port your jugs for 200 bucks, but that doesnt mean i know anything about porting. i would check around, with some more well known builders perhaps. ive NEVER heard of this place, and im assuming theres a good reason why i havent. id try FAST, redline, dave moore, a&s, k&t, grr, white knuckle and there are many others, who are more well known to build fast shit.

thanx for the replys guys. Hey locogato, not tryin be an asswipe or anything but maybe u have never heard of him cuz u live back east and he is on the west coast, and do any of those other builders u mentioned have websites cuz i'm really just shoppin around to get a feel for everyones prices right now and tryin to find a somewhat good deal  . I'm a strapped for cash teenager and am already gonna have the cases split due to the snapring and washer for the kickstart idler gear falling of and getting turned into filings so i gotta clean out all of the bearings and what not. I've only got about $500 to spend on EVERYTHING so i'm trying to find the best hp to money ratio. And $100 is already gone for the seals, gaskets, and the snapring washer and bushing for that gear. That leaves me like 4 bills, and my crank (wiseco w/ hotrods) needs a true&weld cuz it was never done, and i really want a dune port to get me in the mid to low 60's as far as hp goes. Any suggestions would be much apreciated.

EDIT: I need to learn how to type. Oh and what about flotek, I think he goes by rocketboy on here, i would like to know if anyone has used him and if his stuff his good. thanx

I just got done talking to Jim at Passion. I'm prolly goin with him now cuz he is more well known and he was able to work with me on the price and walked me through what he was gonna do to the jugs and head, he definetily mentioned some stuff that I hadn't heard from anyone I have talked to so far, like squish velocity vs. compression on the stock head w/ uncut domes. Passion Racing it is.

:thanks:

Thanks for you input guys.

Shit, i never even called F.A.S.T. I'm gonna go ahead and call him before i send my stuff out. I hate it when you have to choose between 4 or 5 really good choices.

jeff is a good guy... he will take care of you! he does this for a living... where jim does it on the side.... not to say jim doesnt know his shit... my old man ran a very respected shop out of our garage when we raced gokarts and he was a fulltime cop... so doesnt mean anything that they dont doit for a living just some peace of mind when getting ahold of them...

Same here jim is a very good guy to deal with. Always has good answers for my questions. He has also helped me become faster on the drag strip. As for Jeff I couldent tell you to much about him never delt with him. Gettin ahold of Jim is pretty easy most of the time. More then likely he will answer, if not just leave a messange and he will call back.

I talked to jeff at F.AS.T. today. I'm gonna go with him over the other two for this reason. I can get everything I need in one box, no need for me to run around town trying to find all of the seals and gaskets I need, as well as the bushing for the kickstart idler gear.

:thanks:

Thanx for all of the help guys.

EDIT: I really should read through these before I click the post button
