anyone know of anyone who does carb boring in michigan or surrounding areas? would like to take a set of 26 mm mikuni's and take them to 30mm if there is enough metal without any issues..

Forget the bore job,get a set of 30mm from carb parts warehouse.i belive he has a ebay store also.i paid $ 225 with cable and extra jets.the guy is located in Ohio. Its a pwk design with custom bowls to clear the clutch arm.

I gave him my mods and the jetting he set it up with was dead on with the exception of the needle setting.

Stockers can be bored to 28mm that I know of, Rod.

PWK style are the way to go for simplicity and design.

I'd go with some 30's to 34's the biggest....

I'll keep my ear out for some good carbs for cheap.

See if this guy will sell the carbs only:

They are the off brand keihn PWK style, but with custom float bowls. This guy has been selling these carbs forever. He does all the tuning for Bill Ballance and Traci Cecco.Heres the link to website.

They perform as well as Keihns at a fraction of the price. He is also known a Mr Mikuni in these parts.

I run genuine Keihin PWK 33mm carbs on my trail shee. Jeff at fast told me that 28mm kiehins were a wast unless you were just going to put pipes on you banshee.

Just get a boss intake then you dont have to worry about the bowl hitting the clutch arm. It is retarded to have the bottom bolt hole welded up to clear the clutch arm. Now you have to take the 4 philips scres out and take the whole bowl off to change the main jet. If you dont have the bolt hole welded up then you just un screw the bolt witha 17mm wrench and changed the main jet throuhg the hole.

stockers can be taken out to 30's

but the stockers are a poor design... id rather spend the oney and get a better design that improves flow and throttle respone and get some pwk's... like Da said got with 30-34 any bigger your too big

i also have 34 mm PJs for sale but lethaface would be your best bet.. your not getting mine for near that price.. mine are brand new and have the bowl welded to clear clutch arm...

If your wanting to run an air box then I wouldnt get a boss intake. It is pretty thick and will make running an air box a pain in the rear. UPP makes just rubber carb boots that are bigger for 33 to 35mm carbs. Here is a boss racing intake pic.

I would just run pods with outerwears, unless your banshee serves as an outboard boat motor.
