blueshee03
First off in a bracket race you can be the slowest there and be the winner everytime.Bracket is'nt about being fast ,it's about being consistant. If you think the guys from Grand River Racing are dicks then you obviously don't know the guy.Andy is a striaght forward ,get to the point guy who probally forgot more than alot of the builders know.GRR pipes have proved themselves over and over again both on bikes and on the dynoes. The only people who have had complaints about andy's pipes either did'nt jet and tune for the pipes or tried to run them on a stock motor.I'm sure also if you have seen any bikes that were truly built by GRR that ran like crap then whoever had them ether did'nt have them tuned or know how to ride.I have dealt with Andy many times and have never had a problem with him.GRR will return a phone call if you call and leave a message also.So I'm sure if you have a problem with Andy or any of his products that you have or have personally tried and you call him he'll be more than willing to help you .I'm sure also that if Andy sees this post he'll chime in and tell you his thoughts.

alcoholbanshee
I have an all GRR bike and another going together. I have been all over running the roads with Andy...........and I would say we proved ourselves everywhere we go. If you have GRR pipes and they are not better than any other pipe out there, send them back and he will give you your money back......... He has only had a couple sets sent back out of thousands of sets made. What does that tell you. We have a lot of satisfied customers. Don't come on an open site kid and make a broad statement like that......That is the kind of stuff that turns us into dicks!!!!!!!!! Bring your 14 year old, aint never had a drag bike bike, thinks your warrior is fast, big mouth up to Michigan. I'll teach you a little bit of humility!!!!!!!!!!! Roger from GRR!!!!!!!!! race-a-holic
Bigboybanshee had GRR ported cylinders and pipes. I thought it run very good.
bigboybanshee
I like to think my bike ran pretty hard...especially considering I'm not the ideal weight for a drag racer. Andy does great work, his pipes, porting, swingarms, everything I've run that has come out of GRR is top notch. dajogejr
I've met with and talked to Roger around a dozen times. We still chit chat once in a while, even now that the "season" is over up here. I will go on record as saying Andy can appear cocky in his posts or emails, but...having met him in person...I will say he's a very nice guy. straight forward, will not blow smoke up your ass, etc. Once I get my new motor built and tuned this year, I'm going to take Roger up on an offer to throw some GRR pipes on it to test with 'em and try 'em out. Kinda hard to turn down a kind offer like that. Get a few other builders/pipe makers to offer the same...won't happen. The drag track I go to is almost within spitting distance of Grand River Racing... I'm hoping with Roger and possibly Andy's help this year, I can test the pipes and get their input on tuning for them...since this is my first round going to alky... The good thing is...the track we test and tune at normally isn't too busy and you can easily get 20 to 30 runs in... If you're gonna come on an open forum and bash someone or some builder, back it up with facts, not opinions and heresay... By the way....Merry Christmas all...
Banshee4Drag
Im not tring to make a bitch feast. Im was just saing Andy is the owner i guess dick/cocky may be the same...I just dont understand how someone can say this is the best pipe bottom line.....Pipe is never the bike its how the bike is set for the pipe i understand this..I was not tring to be an ass about it at all...I just have called there and was asking about pipes for a bike that is getting built and was told "grr pipes are the best bottom line" and then i asked how can you tell me that if i dont set my motor for your pipes and then was hung up on...But maybe i called on a bad day..But hell i dont know GRR pipes may pull hard i just see myself buying them now
wesw
i think they pull in the mid more. shearers will pull more on top. i guess you could try them and if you dont like them they will guarentee them so they might take them back grr that is. or some shearers. race-a-holic
I figure part of that is a sales pitch like they all have. If you was selling pipes, would you say your's was the slowest? I do think they are good pipes though. I figure ask any guy selling pipes, and they would say the same thing.
