tmac20031
I posted up a topic about this but Im posting another one because I need some answers. the pressure is only coming out of one pipe now and it takes forever for the right side to warm up. I dont know what the problem is. I took off the carbs and they look fine, as well as the v-forces(as new as when I bought them). I just cant figure why the right piston isnt fireing good. I changed the plugs, as well as switched the boots back and forth but its the same verdict. What the heck. ::

What the heck. :: you need to pull off the carb on the side that has the problem, the pull the float bowl off that carb take the main jet outta the carb and blow it out with a air compresser and then clean the whole carb with float bowl still off with carb cleaner and hit the main jet with cleaner also...... if that dosent help then i would say you have a float issue on that same carb....its sticking closed or the needle and seat might be bad... either way i see it as being a carb issue not an ignition problem........ hope this helps ya out... Bansh-eman
are your air screws set the same turns out? same with your idles.... if one side gets hot faster then the other its normally one of those
tmac20031
O.k.. I cleaned the carburators and checked the floats real good and I even rejetted cause I was runnin a little rich but it still does the same thing. I go to warm it up and that right side just doesnt warm up untill I start riding and the engine revs up, then the right side kicks in but starts out sputtering. then I hit the gas hard and both sides kick in real good. Idleing is just a pain in the ass.
bansheeseat$$
Take the pilot jet out of the carb and clean it out. It's pluged with something.carb cleaner and air.Thats why it runs at more then 1/2 throttle and not below. baddsheee
Make sure that the pilot jets are the same size. Sounds kind of dumb but I got a used banshee and the guy I bought it from had a 27.5 and a 32.5 and air screws turned the same from seated. Toomey Banshee
Pull your carbs off and rip em apart. Clean your main and pilot jets real good with carb cleaner and some compressed air. Verify both mains and pilots match one another. Flip your reeds on your V-Force over and make sure the tension setting is the same on both. Reinstall your carbs and sync them so that both slides open at the same time when you hit the throttle. Insall brandy new plugs. Check compression on both cylinders. Disconnect your tors and parking break assemblies if you still have them and see where your at.
dajogejr
I use a strand or two of speaker wire to be sure the pilots are clean. They have very small holes, sometimes carb cleaner and/or compressed air doesn't quite get it all, a tiny speck of dirt is all it takes to clog a pilot... Or, for a few bucks, buy two new ones!! Since each carb has parts unique to it (slides and bowls) I'd strongly recommend tearing them apart, one at a time!!
steverb
are you filters clean. or you might need more air
