Jhughes7
Unfortunently The place we drag here is about 250ft long, Maybe a bit more but not much, Should I overpaddle with haulers since it wont really be about top speed? dajogejr
How many paddles you got now? Your bike needs to spin just a little out of the hole to get the R's up. Are those ALL of your mods in your sig, too? Swinger length? If so...8 paddle haulers will do you just fine. Any straight edged paddle will do better than the V paddles you have in your sig pic. bansheeseat$$
If you over paddle you will actually end up going slower. You will be wasting forward momentum with wheelies.8 paddle haulers will be perfect with your current setup.Gear it so you can launch in second gear and get the front tires to just float on the sand. Jhughes7
Yeh those are my current mods, I have some 8 paddle haulers, But my bike is in storage till May so I have never ran them. And the only thing besides those mods that will be put on is a coolhead. Swinger is stock but I have a +4 that I may put on as well. I am a bigger guy about 240 on a good day. So I am dropping a tooth in the front. It seems when I take off in second now it does just fine off the line but about 10 feet down the track, The front end pulls up hard. Handyman
if it pulls up hard you may want to invest the time and effort to install the +4 swinger to help keep the front end down
Jhughes7
Yeh I will most likely install it, Its probably just the way I am sitting on the bike though.
dajogejr
Put the 8's on....it's hooking too much. You don't need a longer swinger....lean forward a little more and learn to slip the clutch out without dumping it.
