I know a trick thet will give ur banshee extra horsepower and rpm.

It doesn't require any hardware or mechanical stuff.

Its hard to explain so here goes....the banshee being a two stroke AND a fuel-oil mix engine you can add nitro to it (which costs about $15 to the gallon) not any nitro though the best choice of nitro you can get is the nitro used for remote control nitro run cars or planes etc. you can get the nitro from your local hobby shop (ask for a gallon/or more of 2-cycle nitro) just mix in the nitro with your gas and oil ( no need to add extra oil because radio car nitro already has oil in it).

After you mix it ( about 1 part nitro 3 parts gas and oil) just fill the banshee up and let her rip.

be careful though nitro gives you banshee a small boost in rpm and a big kick in horsepower. you can use this on any other 2-stroke gas-oil ATV. by the way Nitro DOES extend engine life.

If it extends engine life than how come when you run it on the dyno it has great HP gains on the first run and than it starts to drop after that? What % nitro are you using 10% 15% 20% hell it even goes up to 40%! Different nitro fuels are made for a reason, now if YOU want to run it hey by all means go for it but I like to know that my bike will start the next time I want to ride! :D

Yes it DOES extend engine life even though the hp drops after a couple of runs, to fix that just run the engine on standard gas-oil for a while the only reason you have loss of preformance is coz the oil in nitro is NOT flammable so sometimes you get it dripping out the exhaust which obstructs the flow of those (great) fumes and slows the engine down about half a tank of gas consumption should clear the oil from the pipes. It's your choice make the right one.

If your dumb enough to put that in your engine then so be it.But don't advise other people to do the same.Nitromethane will NOT and I repeat NOT extend engine life.Nitromethane is the most destructive fuel out there for an internal combustion engine.Where did you get your information.

If you bothered to read the above post, then do yourself a favor and disregard it.I would believe that the majority of us don't want to rebuild our topend because of stupid shit like that.

If you wanna play with nitro, sell your shee and go R/C

Actually there is a gasoline power additive made to replace Nitro in gasoline and be completely safe for your motor. It is called Extreme Power Fuel Additive. I'm NOT advertising in this post, but this is DIRECTLY on topic. You can check it out at extremepowerfuel.com

I agree with it being the most destructive fuel for an internal combustion engine. Nitro doesn't burn it explodes. The reason it is used in R/C cars is because it detonates so easily that the R/C cars don't need an electric ignition. They can run like a diesel (sort of) with a glow plug. As a matter of fact you are not supposed to carry your nitro in a solid container, i.e. steel glass, etc. If you give it a good enough shock the container will not absorb the shock and the nitro can detonate. And the nice fumes coming off of nitromethane are not good for you at all. The burning of nitromethane produces nitric acid. I have inhaled more than my share from the Skoal Bandit funny car in Vegas 2 years ago. It felt like my whole body was on fire, inside and out.

We use nitro in our alcohol powered quads in the winter on ice. The only reason we do this is to build heat in the pipes (alcohol and cold does not mix). Not for more power. We only use good quality nitro (VP fuels). Not R/C stuff. We use about 3-4 ounces per gallon of fuel. I also have friends that use it in their drag bikes, and swear by it,but I choose not to in the summer. But in their defense it is real reliable if used in small doses. You need to be real careful with your jetting because I have seen plenty of trashed jugs and cranks because of this stuff.

I love going to the drags and being in the pits when they kick the Nitro in when they're warming them up. Dont ever stand down wind. It's great fun watching from the upwind side of all the people scrambling. Happened to me once.....I learned my lesson.
