Yes Loco has, I've seen his work and its top notch. He would be the guy I would talk to. He probably could give you some ideas. But then again purchasing a yfz450 would handle alot better, need to ask yourself what you really gonna use it for. Trail riding yfz450, a highbred for drag racing or hill shooting. Edited December 18, 2006 by gipperz
locogato11283
yes ive done it. 600rr motor in raptor frame. yfz450 frame is not nearly tall enough to fit the motor and the EFI without cutting the frame damn near in half or building your own EFI system.. the raptor is gonna be the easiest one to use. i dont run EFI on mine and its still a tight fit.. I'm probably coming off as a pest, but your work amazes me it looks so clean.

I would think you would be looking for some thing with desent suspension? Heck if your going the cheap route just find you a non running 80's yamaha Moto 4 :yelrotflmao:
locogato11283
built the gas tank myself... this is how i switched overto carbs..had to build an ignition system from scratch. i use a dyna 2000 ignition and i had to have the pieces made to attach to the crank... frame after modding mock up. rdepiano12
the motor is already carb'd, and why did you have to change the ignition? how much work was it to do the frame?

locogato11283
the motor is already carb'd, and why did you have to change the ignition? how much work was it to do the frame? i changed it because i did away with all the stock EFI and electronics.. went with the carbs so i had to make an ignition work. it was kinda a pain in the ass havin to figure out the best way to do it. the frame wasnt too bad. the lower frame rails came out, then i set the motor in and built the lower rails back around the motor..turned out pretty nice.
