The savage a re a bitch to work on due to their design. To replace the spider gears in the differental you have to almost disassemble the whole truck. Which one of the trucks do you think is more reliable.I also have a savage25 and it took forever to start every morning and it took about 3-4 days till it got messed up and now doesent turn on.I havent even bothered fixing it.But which one is good for just wheeling and jumping and messing around? jbooker82 Posted December 18, 2006 Report Share Posted December 18, 2006 Here is my HPI MT2 4x4 stadium truck. I put an OS .18 TZ turbo engine in it. Factory Rated at 1.8 HP. Nitro RC put it on there dyno and rated it at 2.3 hp. The Engine winds all the way up to 42,500 RPM. The carb on it is as big as most of your .25's + .30's have in the monster trucks.
