MarineNYC
Ok guys i have a stock 03 Shee. Im looking at upgrading to aftermarket pipes. Who should i go with? Everyone is telling me TOOMEYS. Just wanted some input on this. Also another question i had is that I was looking @ some used T5's on ebay Seriously am i really going to be able to tell the difference btwn the t5 and the t6? Is the t6 that much better that I will be able to tell the difference? Im not a serious racer. But i do ride fast and hard. Also are their anymore must have upgrades that will possibly scare the shit out of me :0)?? TY
b33rs
Just stick with the T5's, you really can't go wrong with them
JET 99
semper fi! t-6s give a little more low end on a stock motor but they dont respond well to porting.. t-5s have a good (powerband) top end hit and they love when you port the cylinders... my only recommendation is if you dont like your pipes looking shitty after awhile get... CHROME ...................................... the black steel version is very difficult to not have them look like shit after a few good trail runs, that is were i am at right now the bike had them when i bought it. 2 year later i have taking them off twice sandblasted and 1200 temp paint it flakes down by cylinders at bends... right now i just blasted and painted and baked paint while waiting for motor to come back from builder we will see how it holds up this time... i am not a big fan of chrome (it aint what gets you home),but there are certain applications where it serves a purpose besides the bling factor............ mcrd san diego, camp pendelton, cherry point mcas. macg. 28 .3rd laam bt.hawk maint 89-
06BaNsHeE
I would get T5's VF3 Reeds Coolhead And a timing plate.
Hilarious
I'd put some CPI's on there.

dajogejr
T5s and 6's are hard to beat. If you have a few extra coin, Trinity Stage IV are very nice pipes, and built from stainless steel...however, they're pricier by a bit. For all around riding and performance, Toomey makes a great pipe, good quality and good fit.

625banshee
I dont like the sound of Fmfs and they probably dont give you as much power as toomeys either
djackbanshee
T-5 And fmf fatty's are great pipes . Nice power curves. Stay away from High Rev Pipes like Shearer,Cpi,Rocket's which are more for drag racing. Go with the T-5 s , They have a nice power curve that can be use in all ridding types.
