What Color Should I Paint My Frame?

Hello, I am currently rebuilding my engine and I have decided that I am sick of my green frame. Rite now seems to be the perfect opportunity to re-paint it since the engine is off the frame. I know that I should powder coat it because powder coating is more durable, but I just don't have any spare money for that and I am pretty happy with how well my painted frame held up and looked. My plastics are silver and all of the other parts on my Banshee are either black or chrome. I want a color that will really draw some attention. My frame rite now looks relatively nice but it really doesn't stand out a whole lot and it is starting to show many scratches. What color do you guys think I should paint my frame?

I was thinking down the line of a bright orange. Maybe with a lot of flake, It would really shine then:biggrin:. I think black and silver would look nice, but it just wouldn't pop enough. So far I have thought about Orange, Red, Blue, Yellow, Lime Green. If anyone has some pictures of some Banshee's with bright colored frames post them.

P.s. Unless powder coating is less then $40 dollars it would be more, one of my good friends works at an auto body shop and he will paint it almost for free, I just got to by the colored paint he will supply primer and clear.

Lime Green? :yucky: I say loose those ugly shock covers! just my .02 - flames are so played out, so is Alba.

I think a deep metalic blue or red would look sweet, black shock covers, and some new pipes

....But you can never go wrong with silver.

So far it seems as though orange is the favorite. I personally am leaning towards orange myself.. That orange with a pearl flake idea sounds like it will look good. It will be a couple of days before I paint it so I still have more time to decide. Keep the ideas coming!
