iv read a few things on her about spraying high temp paint down the inside of the pipes to prevent blueing how many people out there have tryed this and does it really work?

I read that a few years ago so when I bought my new CPI pipes I sprayed white heat paint in them and they haven't turned blue at all and it's been almost 2 years now. I took the pipes off and sprayed them again last winter and plan to do the same this year.

What kind of pipes are you getting......Chrome pipes stay alot better then nickle plated pipes do. If your concerned about discoloring get "chrome" pipes - FMF Fatty and Gnary are nickle plated and so are Pro Circuits. FMF SST, Toomey, CPI, Paul Turners etc. are chrome.

yeah probably get t5's or cpi,s my buddy was saying that his cpi's arnt turing blue either and that he heard they are alright treted on the inside with somthting that prevents blueing anyone ever heard that before. either way i will proably spray the inside i can see how it would help to prevent it.
