okbeast
May be a dumb ?, and sry if it is, but did you give the bowls plenty of time to fill up after you turned the gas back on? I have to wait 2-3 minutes for mine to fill sometimes seems like before it'll start good. Otherwise I just kick and kick and kick and nothin. As for the bogging, don't know what could've happened when you drained them that would change that. Something could be wrong with the floats and it may not be getting enough fuel, but you said you checked that.....

What do you mean by "run the gas out of the banshee's carbs" .. Do you mean you ran out of gas? If so, what conditions were you in when you ran out of gas? WOT? Just idling.. I would do a compression test and see what comes up... There's a small chance that if you were running it hard when you ran out, you could have damaged something... The bike will start to lean out as the bowls are emptied.. You're e-brake isn't on is it? Check out your compression and post the results.. kubiac3
Im going to say that its either A) the choke tube isnt on or the slides are in backwards. I have done them both before and they are common mess ups, I would start there. Especially since it ran before you tore the carbs apart. The cut away on the slides should face the air filter. Turbobanshee_kid
the gas was ran out of the carbs at idle*. Can some one post a pic of which way the slides go in. I have the TORS elimater kit*. I will do a comp test when i get home to night.
dajogejr
On the bottom of the slides, there is a 1/4 moon shaped cut away. That needs to go to the back of the carbs...towards the airbox/air filter.
sandmouse
i'm with "okbeast" make sure you give it plenty of time to fill up both carbs. possible plugged up pitcock valve screen. good luck.
Turbobanshee_kid
Is the pitcock valve screen in the gas tank?
Barrymaxx
Yes it is. Pull the petcock out and clean the screens. Theres one for regular and one for reserve.
Malott 1
Before you pull the tank and take the petcock out of the tank just take the fuel line off the carbs and turn the valve on and see if any gas is coming out.

sand rocket
It was mentioned in a reply eairlyer, did you check the choke tube.
okbeast
It actually does sound like a problem my buddy had when he had his slides in backwards. It would run but was kinda stumbly and what not. I'd check the slides to make sure they're in correctly, and also the choke tube. Also make sure you give the bowls plenty of time to fill, this will make starting it easier sometimes, or it's just one of those things that's good to do.
