pray for my daughter please

Recommended Posts

monday at 1am my daughter lilly (14 month) was fussing, my wife got up with her and changed her diaper. the next thing i hear is a blood curdeling scream of my name, i fly out of bed in to the living room and there is my baby in my wife's arms convulsing. i grab her up and she is limp, her eyes are open but she is not there, i tell my wife to call 911. by the time the ambulance comes she is back to normal but we go to the hospital any way. the doctor takes some blood and they do a ct scan, other than her blood sugar being a bit low every thing looks normal. the doctor says it was probably just a feberal seizure, and they are very common for kids her age and we are sent home.

at around noon she was back to herself running around and playing. i was running her a bath and she was splashing in the water and all of a sudden she locks up and starts convulsing again. 911 is called again and we are off to the hospital. this time they do a spinal tap to rule out meningitis and when the culture came back it showed that that is what she has. she had six seizures total all on monday. she is doing better now they have her on antibiotics and she is seeming to be getting better every hour. we will probably be in the hospital until friday at the earliest. please direct you thoughts and prayers to my little girl. thanks guys.

I am truley sorry to hear about this dark time your going through. Strength is the only thing you have to offer your family at this point so keep hold on that. I cant even begin to imagine how tough all of this is on you and yours. You have my full support and I will say a prayer in my own way.
