tmac20031
Dude, 7 grand? Is it stock geometry? Is this a drag frame? You're money is far better spent on something like the LSR Outlaw or a Leager 250R or equivilent geometry frame/suspension if your goal is just having a lighter more nimble machine. I believe loboboy said the entire frame and suspension set up from LoneStar is 5600 and that will beat the shit out of this titanium frame, providing all it is is titanium without a change in geometry or something more benificial. You would also have money left over also to put towards w/e else your bike may be lacking. If I had the money to do so I would definately spend it in a diffrent way. First of all its stock geometry, and if I decide to Im not just going to get the frame, I obviously know that it doesnt make any sense. Im going to go with roll design +2+1 a-arms and a -1 lobo swinger. And as far as the 250r geo. LSR doesnt make them anymore, I would much rather purchase that but hey, what can you do if it doesnt exsist, the next best thing.

Somebody posted a drag style frame earlier in the thread, but I'm guessing your thinking of a different one. If it's stock geoemetry, I'd stay away from it. You can still find Outlaw and Laeger frames, and I would much much rather have one of those if it were me.
ridingorhiding
i wonder when u weigh the hipers how much more they weigh - compared to the stockers???
dajogejr
This is from the guy that wants to wrap his exhaust in header tape so the bike is quieter...so when he's riding double with girls they talk and not have to yell. Sorry...I don't think saving 21LBs to ride up and down the road to talk to girls is worth 7G's. Spend it on chrome or billet parts, the chicks won't know what aluminum is...but, they'll like the bling. :shoothead:

There is no link, it has to be special ordered, Ive looked everywhere for outlaws but I cant find them. Im sorry I take trips to mexico where it is not "ILLEGAL" to drive on the road or ride double so get off my back about it. And excuse me if women like to hop on, Im not going to say no, I mean damn I can ride by myself all I want but riding isnt my only hobby. Some guys like chics and whats better than them grabing on to you on the back of a shee.
Big Blue
Where are you special ordering this frame from just out of curiousity?
Trick2stroke
You can still buy an LSR Outlaw chassis. It's just not listed on their site, you have to call them.
dajogejr
The fact is this.... Your reasoning and logic is all out of whack. 7 G's is out of the question for a 20 some pound savings.... wrap to ride in Mexico to talk to girls... C'mon now...what kind of sense does that make? Allready did, and they dont make them anymore, I wish they did but its unfortunate. The fact is this.... For one thing, Im not looking for just the 20lb shave, I also want something very strong that isnt heavy as hell and is lighter than stock. And as far as the wrap goes, I already asked if you could get off my back about it. Thats an old post and I decided not to do it, also I dont go to mexico to talk to girls but there their and I cant help it, theres plenty here in the states I know, but what the hell is wrong with quieting down all that noise, it aint like I asked you for your opinion on rartor plastics. I really dont know what your problem is but whatever, JUST SO I CAN END THIS POST I WANT TO THANK EVERYBODY FOR THEIR OPINIONS AND I GUESS YOU WILL JUST HAVE TO SEE IF I DO IT OR NOT. R-O-B
I'll agree with alot of the others, $7k can go along way in other places on your shee. If $7k isn't a problem for you to spend, get it. I wouldn't, but then I'm not you.

Fair enough... as said, 7G's can go a long way towards something else. I'd say for a few hundred bucks, you could probably have your frame lightened and strengthened to the point if you broke anything, the frame would be the last thing you'd have to worry about. If you were gonna make a living out of riding MX/desert or SCORE races with your banshee...I might think about it. Other than that...yeah, overkill to suck your wallet like that. lowriderb
for a ti frame i dont think a stock geometry frame would be worth it.. a chromoly frame for 3500 and 3500 into the motor would make for a stronger running bike than a light chassis and stock (close to) motor.. besides a few of the ti chassis's that ive heard about people having have broken them at the stress points (spindle area of a'arms, motor mounts ect..).. where chromoly and mild steel doesnt tipically. also dragging takes just as much concentration and skill to ride a bike to potential as mx.. jumping isnt my thing either, i would rather be fast.. if anyone wants to try this out, go to a drag track, run your bike.. then get a good rider (that is familiar with your bike and how to drag) and let them run it.. garanteed .2's faster results at least..
