cam2
has anyone changed their rear shock spring themselves? if so, is it a biatch to do? i plan on getting an extended swingarm and i would like to put a stiffer spring on my shock so i was wondering if i have to send it out or could i do it myself without breaking any bones when it comes apart? Do it yourself. Turn the preload all the way out. Get some spring compressors and tighten them a tad till your able to remove the spring plate at the bottom of the shock. Pull spring out. Now compress new spring and reassemble in reverse order. It's really simple.

FireHead
i used two pairs of vise grips, cause im cheap/poor. its really simple. I used some heavy duty steel hose clamps. Not recommended, just like vise grips, but it got the job done.
