stock a-arms.....not so good

:banghead: hey i have wrecked a couple of times and i bent the a-arm were the ball joint conects. and personally i think the stock arms are cheesy as hell. but none the less i have to work with it. i looked at new aftermarket arms but i dont have that kind of money. what should i do is there anything cheaper??

The only way around it is to buy some used a-arms

 

Also Mulletman on here has a write up on how to install yfz a-arms on a banshee with minor modifications. You could probally pick up a cheap set of those on ebay. But you would also need new or used shocks.

+2 width, +1 forward = +2+1 (per side)

 

arm and a leg is what they will cost ya. figure easily upwards of $1,000 for shocks, arms and tie rods :ohmy:

damn!! a grand nope i dont think ill do that ill just beef up the little tabs that are holding the ball joints with some steel plates

Find a set of good used +2+1 a-arms off e-bay and a set of YFZ 450 shocks also off e-bay. I am running this setup and love it. Take the time to adjust the shocks to your type of riding. You won't beleve the difference.

do u have a pic of it i like that idea i have yz450 shocks in my garage my buddy gave them to me i didnt think of that.
