I was wondering if any of u had the mothers polish ball that u put on a cordless screwdriver. How good does it work. Does it do good on pipes and rims? What about getting to the head on the motor. Also what kind of polish does good with it.

there was a post a few months back about it... try to search for it... i want to say most ppl that used it liked it for rims and such ... just cant be used very ez on small tight spots..

The best thing to get rust off would be fine steel wool and just go to town. Also if you want to, you can take your pipes off and take a buffing wheel and mothers polish to the pipes. Makes them like new. Then put a coat of wax on them, makes its easy to clean them again. I put a coat of wax on everything, plastics, pipes, head, sidecases. just about everything. Really makes cleaning the pig alot easier.

The ball works really good on the pipes, wheels, and bumper, maybe on the swinger if yours is chromed or anything. it's not so good for smaller, tight areas. The ball gets torn up, and sometimes it might get greasy, which is a pain to get clean.

I use the Mother's chrome polish for my wheels, aluminum ITP's. It does pretty good. I use the generic metal polish for pipes.

Also I have a good bit of surface rust on my pipes. Esp on the stinger. What is the best thing to use to get the rust off before polishing.

S.O.S. pads, just a steel wool pad, with some soapy stuff that helps get it really clean.
