thinking of selling

Hello. I am thinking of getting rid of the shee and maybe getting a 450.

 

I was curious if I would be better off parting it out or selling it whole.

 

I got chetta cub 358 cylinders pretty much new (just rebuilt topend, put cylinders on and havent ridden) with pistons

sst pipes and silencers

pro design cool head

kein 33 carbs

boss billet intake

vforce 2 reeds

k&N pods

lots of matching bling

 

also would I be better off trying to seel the bottom end as one piece or seperate parts?

i think you would get more money by parting it.. but never know you might just see if someone will trade a 450 for it...

Right on, I've seen some blingin' YFZs on PS that people wanted to trade for shee(hmm I wonder why?) Anyway, if you wanted to get the most $$$ for it, you would be 10 times better to art it. Chances are your not going to find someone who has the exact same tastes and riding style as you, so that is a big loss in the price right there. I havent parted out a bike, yet. But here a stock banshee goes for between 12-1800 and on a part out, your around 2 gs for everything. If you have the time and the know how it would probably be worth it to part it.

 

Edit: If your really from Italy, I don't know if you would be better to part it out or not, I'm not sure what the market is like over there.

I was in Italy but I just moved back to the states. The market was way better over there. I was offered a little over 10gs with the excange rate over there. Since its not stock Im looking for a little more than that but we will see. thanks for the input and keep it coming.

You should have sold it over there then cause I doubt that your going to get that over here. You might but not very likely. If your wanting a 450 you could probably trade a sweet banshee for a sweet 450. That is what I would be looking to do.

I know i will not get near that here man. I didnt want to sell it at the time so i let it pass. I still dont really want to sell it and dont need to Im just thining 4 stroke would suit me better for this area.

New Mexico, arent banshees best suited for desert racing? :biggrin:

there is not alot of open desert here at least not close to my house. Seriously man you got anything to contribute to this thread or you gonna just keep coming back to try and show how all knowing about a banshee you are.

how much are you looking to get out of the whole bike? is it running? can you post some pics?

 

It is running and it is running fucking awsome. Im not really sure what I want for it. Mainly I want a 4 stroke so I would say that if I was to sell it complete I would ask aroun 5k. :shrug:
