Satsol67
I am looking for a jet kit for my stock carbs. Where is the best place to get a kit that has different ones to choose from? Or do I have to specify which sizes I want? Its getting to be a pain to start so I think I should go up in the pilots I'm at 25 now and 280 for mains. Now thats it getting colder I would like to go up on each one. What would be recomended? 27 on pilots and 300 on mains?

sredish
yes, what he said. also, whats your location? you ought to bump the compression up a little more, your leaving hp on the table still, even with pump gas. call carbparts.com and order a 27.5 and a 30 pilot. then order a 290, 300, 310 and 320 main jets. that'll be cheaper than a 'jet kit' and you won't be buying stuff you don't need. chances are, you'll be int he 310 range, with a 27.5 pilot; needle in the 4th clip. I'm in the upstate South Carolina area elevation is around 1000 above sea level. I have been thinking about going to 20cc domes but would that bring up my compression to much? Its at 140 now. I want to stick with pump gas 93 oct.
BANSHEEMANIAC
hey, i live in upstate s.c. to. i have pretty much the same setup with 290 mains, 27 pilots, and needle in 3 slot. the only thing is those 20cc domes you want to run. that may push you pretty close to a race mix. thats something you will just have to play with. you sould be alble to run them with no problem.
