DaFish Posted November 15, 2006 Report Share Posted November 15, 2006 (edited) my axle is loose you can grab it and move it from side to side not much but a lil bit probbly about a 64th of an inch. is this bad normal or what and can you let me know how to fix it thanks. and i can move my rotor around. kubiac3 Posted November 15, 2006 Report Share Posted November 15, 2006 If it moves side to side its your locknuts probably. If it moves up and down its your bearings. Easy to replace. Buy a rear axle bearing kit. Hammer out the old onces. Pack the new ones with good greese and put em in the carrier, pack the seals with grease, put them on. put the axle on. Go ride.
