bansheeseat$$
Well, I called that mechanic I know working out of the bar parking lot. You, Know the one I was talking about just the other day. Asked him about the whole boost bottle thing, Since no one could at least explain to me why they are trash. I had said I am a technical guy. Maybe even too worried about theories at times. So moving on. He told me."Yaa the theory makes sense. Room for expansion over all. That's where it stops, At the theory and the math on paper work. Overall, No Major advantages. Yaa, For sure it does serve a purpose. That part is true. Its all how high the overall gain. The end result. As I have been told over and over again, until this turned into a cluster fuck. So All I can say at this point with my pride in the tunnel. If you guys are here to help? Why could someone have not just explained it to me? Not saying it's any one else's fault. I guess I just am too dam stubborn when it comes to understanding why. when that's always what I have been told as far as the boost bottle. They sold me, So over all its been a good show, for all. As for these shops in Michigan. Not my intent to slander these guy's. Just don't know who they are.and it seems like a good time to take a new look. People to give me the facts, not just sell me on shit parts. I indeed have been in the two stroke circuit for some time. ill work to serve that back over time, as well as taking a new lesson away. Hope all can be well in the chats from hear on out. I know you gentleman will say what you have to say. I just ask you remember what I said in an early post. If someone could just explain, then I would step down and say I was wrong. So I was. Aaron, It takes a man to admit that they were wrong or other wise.I believe you will get more respect from this post and people will not judge you for your questions in the future or maybe your insite on someone else's question. Regards, bansheeseat$$(Kai)..
BANSHEEPRO
Its verry clear you know nothing. Do you really think Yamaha spent the money to have a tube for nothing. Just like i said it will run but it makes the tuning more sensitive. If you think that crap fine. It just tells me you know verry little about 2-Stoke motors. So whatever i know nothing only have been riding for 10 years and have a track mech work on my bike. By the4 way only have ever blown one top end between bike and ATV's. Sure the tube is nothing but a waste of space. YAa makes tons of sence you moron. Do your self a fovor learn about pressure and temp effect's on two stroke motors. DA Listen TYGUY its clear by the pics and tech info that he is a dragg runner. LIke i said before it will run w/o a boost bottle it just gives the carbs more room to equalize pressure, if you thinks that's bull do the physics. your A.Dretel AMA top 100 XC rider. Look at is POS you want help from that kind of guy who really thinks its just something CO's make for nothing, DAAA DA BOOST BOTTLES ARE FOR QWERS.....OHH SORRY AARON YOU LOVE PINK BOOST BOTTLES DONT YOU...LOL 110% TOTAL BULL SHIT GET OVER THIS BOOST BOTTLE CRAP WITH ALL THAT TECHNICAL BACKGROUND OF YOURS DUDE TELL ME THE ADVANTAGES OF THE BOOST BOTTLES FOR BLASTER...HUH...YEA DING DONG NONE ...LOLOLOL GOT YA
Aaron.D
Ohh yaa for blasters. Well, since you only have one carb it gets a little tricky. But on a blaster they are great for throwing at people or using a a pipe when in need. Besides that. There is no way to mount one. But if I keep listing to these shops selling me there shit then they might find a way.

Justintoxicated
I thought the crossover tube was to help the bike idle if your carbs are out of sync? The Boost Bottle is basicaly a shiny crossover tube that can rack your rubber manifold. Edited November 16, 2006 by Justintoxicated

jbooker82
No boost bottle here. I have a boss racing intake. It has a machined in crossover tube. No way for sand to work its way in. I use a Nology coil and their hotwires....and still used BR8ES plugs. Between that and my Dyna ignition, they provide a better, hotter and quicker spark. Got A nology coil and hot wires my self. Seems to start way easier. You can see the ground strap that goes from the Hot wires to my cool head.
