I called Jeff and I don't think he had softer springs for the stock carbs (which is what i have, didn't look at your sig). I'm going to cut my stock springs to see if i can soften it up some. It's just sitting in my tool box, I bought a brand new SRP complete thumb throttle. csrmel Posted November 10, 2006 Report Share Posted November 10, 2006 take off the throttle cable and lube it up really good while working the cable in and out. next lube the handlebar thumb assembly and make sure that moves with no resistance. finally i have had good luck cutting 3 coils off my stock springs in the carbs. makes the thumb throttle about as touch as a raptors (which isnt tough at all). The few times I used it, it's ok.... Let me look in my toolbox/box of parts and I'll PM you the details.
