All_Out_0606
well im bout to get this motor back in, this is what it has. Wiseco Crank (stk stroke), wiseco .020 pistons, white bros boost bottle, k & N, FMF gold series fatty headers, with power core 2 silencers. The jetting that it was running before the oversized pistons and crank and running in the warm weather (75-85 degrees F) was a 290 main, not sure on the pilot. Should i just bump it up to a 300 or 310 main now with the bigger pistons and it getting colder outside? (40-60 degrees F) im at 800 ft above sea level. and you already know what i got and temperatur. thanks for the help. and how much more on the pilot if any.??? recommendations? Big Blue
You wont need to change because you had your cylinders bored, You will need to adjust for the temp change. A size or 2 should be plenty.
Bansh-eman
once again the only 100% way to tell is doing a plug chop

What might happen if you open it up & its' too lean. Might seize a piston... Why not start out with a #340 main to be safe. Then get a read on the plugs (plug chop) & go from there. J-Madd
I've jetted a Banshee w/that setup with as high as 370s and it wouldn't foul a plug or load up. This was w/K&N with the airbox almost cut all the way off. All we had was 370s and 330s on hand, and we figured it was safer to go with the 370s, which is extremely rich, I know, but it runs pretty good. Never did a plug chop. This was just a couple weeks ago on a new 2006. Temp was in the 60s and elevation is 300ft. Stock pilot is ok with those pipes, but some recommend a 27.5, which will be fine too.
