Raptor, yfz, or kfx450

Recommended Posts

I stopped by the dealer to pick up parts for the blaster and my girl saw a all white gytr raptor. She wants me to trade my gsxr1000 in for it. I have no problem getting rid of the gixxer, but should I wait for the kfx? I was thinking of getting a yfz as an addition, my girl likes the raptor, but the kfx is looking pretty nice with the fuel inj, reverse, and aluminum frame.

id go with either the raptor or yfz, and the raptor has reverse and fuel injection, and a partial alumiumn frame

id wait on the kfz only beacuse its gonna be its first year, and id rather see how it holds up, let "other" people give it that test, OL ,, im sure they will make changes for the next year,,, they always do

that kawi is gonna shape up to be just like the suzuki..not as fast as the yfz450. id go with yfz450. who really needs reverse? get off and turn it around..and efi?? who needs that anyway? im perfectly happy with my carbs..(that i cant tune) (inside joke kinda)

ye bro I dont care for reverse all that much, but its gonna be my girl riding it mostly. She wont stop talking about the gytr. I can see it now, we're riding ona trail, she needs to back up and I gotta get off the banshee to help her :banghead:

tell her if she cant turn the motherfucker around she has no business riding it. what happens if she gets crooked on a trail? she needs to be able to handle the bike. i can assure you that 450 is gonna be easier to handle than a big heavy craptor...i still say 450 is the way to go..reverse isnt gonna help her if shes rubber side up!

My wife loves here 700 Rappy. Fuel injection is nice as i dont seem to have time to jet my own bikes sometimes let alone hers. Now i dont have too. Actually in the trails that thing is hard to beat! Bone stock it beats some piped Raptor 660s and yfzs so they do run good.
