The cheap fix is too wipe off the rust with some steel wool, and hit them with a high temp exhaust paint. Should be able to get it at Pep Boys or VatoZone. Looks like spray paint but made for high temps. I got my PTs and FMFs powdercoated with the high temp stuff(about $100), and I like it a lot, more color choices, and more durable too. You can also have them chromed but it's gonna run up there in price, or a ceramic coat(good for a few extra hp), but hard to find someone that does it, and it'll run up there in price too. ZillaRider02
Definately put something on them before the rust gets outta hand. I like the looks of them with the HPC, Jet Hot or similiar coatings. It stays shiny, doesn't stain, and is easy to clean.
jbooker82
Here is what jet hot's sterling silver looks like. This is my 660 raptor header. The only bad thing is that you wont be able to scrub off burn on oil with out the chance of removing the coating. That is the advantage of chrome over any other exhaust coating. The difference in price is only $110 between the Steal and Chrome finish from toomey. You send your pipes to jet hot it is going to be way more than that. My Raptor exhaust was $140.
