MORE POWER!

Shave the factory head, it's cheap. Mine doesn't overheat, ever. That gives a very noticeable bang for the buck. Shave the flywheel, also cheap; and while you have the 'wheel off, slot the stator mounting holes for a timing increase. Keep in mind that these mods are gonna make it pickier on fuel selection- mine doesn't ping on 92 octane even at 155 psi and 7* timing, but yours might end up needing half-and-half race gas and super to run right.- It will haul ass though. Mine gives a huge increase switching from super unlead to half-and-half. V-force reeds will help a hell of a lot, tho they aren't cheap like the other mods are. I have PT Mids and I like them a lot, but they really are for a motor that has been ported a bit. I don't think they are gonna give much on a stock motor. Toomey TR-6s of FMFs aqre gonna be more the ticket there. And as stated, a sprocket change (13 tooth) will help a lot, closing up the gaps between gears and shortening them a bit. Top speed goes from like 95 to 80 or so, still pretty fast.

note on the reeds...a cheaper alternative to those v-force reeds would be a set of boysen carbon reeds for the stock cages. only about 20 bucks or so and make a noticable diffrence.

well the most will come from a 4mill. That will give you the lowend hit like no oher. Like a 4 stroke except its a Banshee. Other options are the advanced compression NOSSHead.sstockhead. Timing advance longer rods new pistons that a 4mill.

i would say the biggest increase i felt was the timing advance. if youre handy with a drill press and a hand file you can do it for free, well the cost of a flywheel puller. (about $15 shipped).

that was the 1 bolt on mod that really stood out and impressed me.

How much should I have the head milled? Id like to run pump gas if possible. If not the local gas station sells 110 octane. Also you think I could just take the head to a tool and die shop and have it milled or is there more to it then just cutting it down? Or any suggestions as too who to send it to and around how much it will cost.

Thanks.

any decent machine /tool and die shop should able to lighten the flywheel and machine your stock head for cheap.

Lookin for some more low end power. Dont have alot of money to get it. Whats a good reasonable mod I could get to gain this power. Milled head? Paul turner pipes? new powerband with the stripes?

Imo , you dont want to lighten your flywheel for Low End power. Cheapest mods are timing plate, milled head or cool head, then V force , Paul Turner Mids are definetly the best for low end power. Next porting.
