jetting for t5

I did the search and I want to make sure I dont f*ck-up this crucial part of modding. I live at sea level have a +4 timing advance, stock filter and box, and I want to install t5 exhaust I just bought off a fellow HQer. What jetting do you think I should I use. I may add an aftermarket filter, what do you recommend. Thanks in advance

if you still running with the box try 280 but you will probably work down to 260 after a plug chop or 2.

toomey themselves state that t5's requite 280's with their clampon 2:1 filter. you wont need more than a 280 main with the box in place.

Yep...260 to 280 is where you end up. And I can tell you from first hand experience, if you put 280 mains in a bike that has no airbox (a la their 1 into 2 OR Pod Filters) and their T5 pipes, you will blow it up.... I ran 330s or 340s in my pod filtered T5 bone stock port motor....

Unless you're gonna ride in a lot of mud or water, let that thing breath a little more on the inhale...

Try a K&N Filter and drilling a few holes in the lid (free to drill) or remove the lid and get a pro flow kit, (to secure the filter's sealing edge to the airbox.)

When I bought my shee used it had T5's, 2-n-1 foam filter. It was running on 32.5 pilots and 280 mains. It was running rich. Got it ported so my mains have really changed.

Definately get rid of the stock filter system. If a lot of mudding then just replace the the filter and make holes or something like stated here earlier. Let her breathe, shee behaves better with air.
