ipone oil

hey is ipone oil any good that strawberry stuff i was wonderin because i thoguht about tryin it but i got some ams dominator now to so im not sure tell me what you think im just waitin to put my bike back together and for parts so which should i use and what should i mix with each for my motor to last

I have 2 friends that run it..

 

I dont think you hear much about it because its directed at the snowmobile market more so, it is recommended for oil-injected systems. It may be prone to settling in the bottom of your tank as oppose to staying consistant throughout your fuel.

 

I dont personnally run it for 4 reasons, I dont like the thought of smelling like a gay strawberry(the smell is much more sickening over time I find, than other oils), 2- the dealer that sells it is a fucking asshole(ripped me off $400), 3- I like running blue marble and wouldn't feel as confedient leaning out Ipone as Much, and 4 - it wouldnt' work out to be any cheaper for me....

 

Just my 2cents..

 

my friends that run it don't seem to complain about it, but they are the kind of guys that would have no problem running the "run of the mill" quality 2-stroke oil if they didn't have enough ipone mix for the ride out.

 

There is another Ipone Oil out as well that is almost twice as expensive, its geared more for gook street bikes i think. IMO if a company comes out with an oil thats nearly double the price, the cheaper oil is probally not all that wonderful

Ive Used Ipone for over a year now and i have no complaints, and like any other company they a some for premix and some for injection, I run the Samurai racing one and its a premix formula for motocross aplications. And the smell is great, make you stand out from the crowd.

the stuff up there i wanna try is in a white bottle with 2000 writing on it what ever that is

and is it better than ams dominator oil and what will i mix it at

If your going to use it...

I'd mix it at 32:1

 

If your breaking your motor in, perhaps 1 tanks at 24:1

 

 

 

The bottle my friends use has a sled on it, but i think that one is the same thing just different marketing, theres is the 2000 whatever as well..

 

That Samurai type is expensive.. Way over priced IMO. Its hard to find a more expensive oil than that around here..

 

Prices vary depending where you are I suppose..

 

lets just say your not going to blow your motor up @ 32:1 or even likely @ 40:1 with dominator or Ipone, unless of course its jetted wrong. the oil wont be the cause.. It comes down to price and perfernce of smell really...

so you think ams is better im guessing your probley right and i was reading ipone gunks shit up and the oil will go to the bottem of your tank
