skin doc Posted October 30, 2006 Report Share Posted October 30, 2006 i just got my bike running again because the gas was mixed with too much oil. its all good now but tomarrow i'm going to do some more things tp it. can someone please tell me how to clean the carbs? do i have to take them off the bike ? what cleaner do i get ect......once again thanks for everyones help. this is a great site Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
fastbanshee8 Posted October 30, 2006 Report Share Posted October 30, 2006 You will have to remove the carbs from the bike, to clean them. Take them off one at a time, so you don't mix up parts. Remove the carb top, turn it over, and remove the carb bowl. Take out the main jet, and the pilot. Clean everything with aerosol carb cleaner.
