We've never ridden sand AT ALL we're all a little curious 1 check with little sahara power sports www.LSPonline.com I belive they still rent paddles. you may have to call didnot see paddle rentel in on line store. 2 I will have a raptor there if I can get time of work. Banshee will still be in pieces 3 you will need a little time to learn how to safely ride ,after first ride you will ask youself WHY HAVENT I DONE THIS BEFORE? We've never ridden sand AT ALL we're all a little curious Paddles are not a must but will help on the steeper longer dunes. All people and rides are welcome but you must have a flag ( i think at least 9-10 feet off the ground). The main scenario i see too much of is new people heading out in the dunes and not seeing the "Drop offs" and flying off a steep dune and getting hurt bad. My advice is follow someone around or take it slow the first time around the dunes till you get a feel for how they are laid out. Hell, i could have fun riding a wheelie on a Unicycle so it doesnt matter what you ride..... just ride! Hope to see you out there March 29th - April 1st 2007 . Wanna go and hang out and meet everyone, year along time and im in between jobs at the moment so I don't have any vacation time to take off.. I hope by that time i'll be at one place or the other. I Dont mind driving ( just took a 23 hour drive to texas in a Geo Metro 5speed with no cruse and 4 people with a weeks worth of stuff..
