Big Blue
The trucks I drive either have a straight 10 or super 10.
BigRed350x
Jared, I work for one of the big oil companies that has a yard in the Rock, IPS. I'm out of Western Oklahoma, but there is always talk of going to the Rock to work because they are short handed. You wouldn't regret it. Great pay out this way, and you have one of the top 5 biggest sand dunes, and the countries absolute least ridden sand dunes about a half-hour outside of town! wesw
sweet pete car. used to drive one, was probably the best truck ive ever been in, smoothest ride and quiet to ride in. yeah ive been driving 7 yrs its getting too much b.s. like shawn said. 18 are nice just unless your pulling heavy loads or super hills you really dont need to split the bottom side. company runs 10 speed autoshifts in our. nice butmake you lazy. I'll find out tomorrow on the UPS Freight job, my guess is there will be a lot of competition for the seat... Geoff
ZX12, That who the other one was..Overnite. I don't know what you guys are making back there but I think UPS guys top out at around 26-27 bucks, which is pretty good in my opinion for cruising at 55 with the cruise control on. Good luck Oh and Cats are the only way to go. I just have never been that impressed with the cummings engines that I've got to drive, didn't seem to have as much bottom end power as the cats do. it's stolen
I dont drive that much. mostly fix the trucks and buses. sometimes i have to drive the tow truck to pick up dead buses. i had to get a hazmat endorsment to drive the service truck and the 10 wheelers. I hate dealing with the tsa. i work at an airport so i deal with them every day.
