Rippin-it
Me and my brother have identically modded banshees. My is brand new with only an hour on the motor, his has about 50 hours. We both have Noss heads with 18cc domes, V3's, k+n/pro-flow. The only difference is he has T6 pipes with the airbox lid on, and has the needle in the middle with 25 pilots. I have trinity's with no lid, needle 4th clip, and 27.5 pilots. His bike is MUCH more responsive and feel more powerful through out the powerband. His T6 bike hits way harder and just runs stronger. Could this be the pipes or the fact that his is jetted leaner and has the lid on the airbox? I ride mostly in the low and mid part of the powerband and love the way his feels. Are the T6's just a better pipe?
2strokespirit
[The t6 pipes are good, but i understand that you have a new bike with just an hour on. The motor is fresh, let it run in for a while, the bike wil run better if u give it time to break in a bit, not much, but a little bit. Washburn
Break yours in a little more and you should run a little better. As for the pipes the TR6s are no joke. I have them on mine and they run way harder than any FMF banshee or DG and T5 stock motor Banshee Ive ever riden(never rode a trinity piped Banshee). Mine runs great all around but the T6s do help a trmendous amount. I would way rather have T6s on a stock motor than T5s too. Toomey dident just build the T6s so you could upgrade to T5s once you port your motor out. they built them because they put more and better all around power to the stock engine. Rippin-it
I found the problem.....when jetting the carbs after the pipe install I moved the needle clip to the 2nd postion rather than the 4th! The mid range was way to lean and starving for fuel. I corrected it and put it in the 4th clip and the power is all there now....damn its fast! I take that back about the pipes, the trinitys seem to work real well. Not better by any means than the T6 but about the same. The T6 have more throttle response and low end while the trinitys have more of the "traditional" banshee hit in the mid and upper powerband. I do however like the look of the trinitys better but like the raspy sound of the T6's.
