I want to try my SHEE out in a GNCC race. Im looking to do it for fun more than on a competitive level but I dont mind passing up some 4 strokes at all. Do any of you know any events or open tracks around the Pittsburgh area that you ride?

I doubt they'll back at Rausch..... I could be wrong, but I seriously doubt it. I heard of talk of bringin back the Matthews Farm GNCC, and thats somewhere out in western Pa. The dates for the '07 GNCC schedule have been posted, but not the locations yet.

yea thats the word on the Wisp. gone.

And Rausch.... I heard the new owners are kinda goofy and they're the main reason why Rausch won't happen. But trust me bro, I'd love to see GNCC racing come back to Rausch Creek, I hope they can make it happen, its such a nice facility there and the parking is flat and dry......

now you got my hopes up for Rausch in '07

ps. Ya notice how the majority of the BHQ crew have zero interest in ATV racing

Dont quote me on this but I brought this topic up to Cody Buchanan "Buchanan Racing" and I think he might have said yeah they are doing that but mabey Im wrong. Ill find out for sure next time I see him. Have any of you guys seen any of his coustmers bikes he builds sick Banshee engines. He compets with all of the "BIG DOG" builders and hes builds rite up there with them no doubt about it. He works alot of 4 strokes too alot of people up there ride 400exs and they want their motors to hang with the new 450s and Buchanan does it.

the powerline race is about an hour from you. the sweet thing about it is you can go ride the property on holiday weekends to get familiar with the place.its another story on race day though, they change the course and add new shit every year.ive only went as a spectator but ive always wanted to try it.wish i did it when i had the z400 though cause i dont really want to thrash the shee that hard.not that it woulnt take iti just like it to much.i did a hare scramble on my kdx(which i thought everything was tight on) and the slightly worn partts were toast after the race.damn it was fun though

Look into the AWRCS series as well. It is actually centered somewhat around Pittsburgh. Cody, races most of these as well. Here is the link to the schedule but it's not complete yet. http://www.imxracing.com/index.php?option=...7&Itemid=53

Yeah, thats him. This is what I will be doing as soon as I get my Banshee together. Cody always used to beat me in races but when Im all setup and I get him to do my 4mil I will stand a way better chance. Plus I practice More.

Where are you from Blaster668?

About 15 mins from Cody's shop. I don't know him too well. I'm really good friends with some other guys that race that series, you probably know some of them if you do also. Corbin Knox, and Chad Baker mainly.

Whats you name bro? Is your Banshee black and Yellow? If so we were talking a few months ago on the road. My place is rite off of Jacobs Road. I hung out with Cody my whole childhood when he used to ride his CR250. Did you ever ride up the strip mines that the amish turned into the the sawmill Hilltop hardware. My property runs rite behind there. I own most of the trails. Sucide hill the superbowl ect... My names Neil Collins I rode an LT160 and moved on to a LT250R when I was 15. I havent raced in a series yet but is Chad a cousin of Jerimiahs and that young dude Jessi with the 400ex?
