dawarriorman
uhm, theres 1 10mm bolt on each cylinder to drain coolant. its free. That doesn't drain nearly all the coolant. Pro design makes a replacement water pump cover that has a drain plug in it. If I remember right, it only costs like 10 bucks or so. Rocky Mountain has them I know, FAST probably does too. Most places should have it. Nice to have, but just be careful, when you pull the plug, the coolant shoots straight out, it makes a mess if your not ready for it. RNBRAD
The pro-design is like 29 to 34 depending where you buy. You could tap your stock plate and put a flat head allen screw with a copper washer for probably a mere 50 cents.

djackbanshee
i welded a piece off round bar on my stock cover and made it long enough that it goes through the plastic water pump cover and put a nut with a copper washer. Its an easy easy drain, you dont even have to take anything off + you can put a pan just under it so no mess. I wouldn't want to try and simply tap the cover, its not that thick, and would be easy to strip. dajogejr
I WON mine from this site, it's a Mod-Quad version. The cover fits back on tight, but...it works, sort of. When I use the allen plug to drain the coolant, I have to put orange hi temp RTV on the allen plug to get it to seal...or it will drip, no matter HOW tight it tighten it. But, it was free from HQ...so, I'm not complaining.... http://modquad.com/store/search_results.as...mp;txtCatName=

Someone told me that if you add it to the gas, it'll help seal your crank bearings. Or was that Trans fluid...I forget. ***Disclaimer. Do NOT Add anything but gas or premix oil to your gas tank...this was a JOKE!!! *** lol... :yelrotflmao:

dajogejr
Two things... 1. I don't want somebody to fubar their engine on my behalf due to a joke, and 2. I don't want someone saying "Oh, well dajogejr said to do this" and well, you know... I have an easy enough time looking like an idiot...I don't need any more help in that department!!
