trueraiderfan
Here is a list of my mods 1993 banshee on a 94 frame - welded an trued crank - Porting is 194 exhust and 126 intake - Toomey t-6's - +6 timing - weisco forged pistons - Boost bottle - head shaved 60 - 80 thousands cant remember exact - cylinders shaved 80 thousands - domes size is 19 cc and here is what I am currently going to do to it add 33 or 35 mm carbs and intake add vF-3's add F.A.S.T. clutch and baskett add or shlould i say replace crank seal (because of old clutch blew up and ripped the old one wich is why I am doing all this in the first place add either cpi or shear inframe drag pipe's and sell my T-6's cause every body keeps telling me that they are killing me with the porting I have. So wadda U guys think as far as small bore or big bore inframe drag pipes wich should I go with and what is the diffrence between them? dajogejr
Small bore, especially with stock bore and stroke. Unless you step up to a big bore, 7mm or 10mm stroke motor, you don't need big bore pipes, and you'd actually be hurting performance. Small bore Shearers get my nod, but CPIs are a good choice as well.

trueraiderfan
so could I still use the small bores if I went with a 4 mil stroker as well later down the road or would you have to get the big bore then?
wesw
- head shaved 60 - 80 thousands cant remember exact - cylinders shaved 80 thousands - domes size is 19 cc ok first of you either dont know what your talking about or your very confused. you cant have domes that are 19cc with a head shaved. and if your jugs are shaved 80 your shit would be in the middle of the piston most likely. so im calling bravo sierra. unless you got stuff incorrect. also shearers are kick ass pipes. dajogejr
Matter of preference. I have the small bore RDZ/Shearer (same pipe) for my 4 mil, 68mm cub motor. They rip...flat out. 7mm stroke is kinda fence sitting, small bore vs. big bore, and 10mm you really should have bb pipes. However, some will tell you to keep the small bore for more mid, but the big bore will pull more on top (breathe better)....

dajogejr
Yeah, if he doesn't give you straight answer, find another. Does it have an aftermarket head on it, or stock?
