DirtyFitz
Well I rebuilt my quad last season and piped it and it ran great all season. Christmas came around and I got a Pro Design cool head w/ 21cc domes and the bike ran well till about june. Me and my step dad pulled the head and it happens that the little U shape on the head bent and screwed up the dome and it chipped the hell out of my piston, head, and scratches on the cylinder. I was hoping to ride it this Halloween but thats not going to happen but thanksgiving is right around the corner. While I have the cylinders off I want to get them ported & polished hoping that it will take the scratches off the cylinder or do I have to bore then port n polish? and does Pro Design have a warranty on heads and domes because I doubt this head is repairable and I dont want to risk it? If I get a camera I will put up pictures to be more descriptive and what do you guys suggest for a porting company? I want someone thats more west coast. RIPPEN
More than likely the cylders will have to be bored out if that scratch is that deep at all.. As far a warranty on the head, I doubt it.. Iam not exactly sure what "u" shaped piece your talking about... As far as who to send the stuff to, if you don't mind a little shippin I would send it to Jeff @ F.A.S.T. He can hook you up with answeres and service for all of the above.. Justintoxicated
Are you talking about the tab that prevents the domes from spinning?
DirtyFitz
Are you talking about the tab that prevents the domes from spinning? Yes thats exactly what im talking about, it bent over the dome and now the dome wont come out and it messed the head and piston up.
