ClimbAnyHill
I never would of thought of that, good idea if it works. Some skate wheels come with nice crossbone or checkered designs. Let us know how it holds up.
csrmel
the banshee rollers use only 1 bearing for each wheel. using dual bearing stake wheels would probably be an improvment. plus you can probably get a set of wheels and good bearings for cheap. STLBILL
I imagine it is cheap since you took it from your brother's skateboard!?! Those skater fags are always looking for some new challenge. Maybe skating with three wheels will catch on? You'll famous! Of course eventually he'll become a snow boarder when you've taken all the wheels...

Yami_rider_4life
A set of spitfire or any major company wheels for skateboards usually goes for 30-40 bucks. Or you could get cheap wally world wheels.
Skidmark
better keep em clean, Once dirt gets into them its over. The bearings are unsealed and very very sensitive to dirt.
GEEZR
Yess, Skidmark, your absolutaly right. I've tried this very same trick a couple years ago. I rode back to camp and noticed that the bottom roller was completely gone , but the top one remained on and seized up. I used both locktite AND lock nuts. Remember that the lower chain causes the roller to go counter clock wise, causing the bolt and nut to undo itself.
