CombatTalon2
I does look like you have A Arms for a differant quad. The upper arms should be the same length. maybe they are and its a bad picture. Also, and im not sure on this, but does the curve go fwd with janessen arms or not? I know my quicksand arms (+2+1) have the upper a arm curve towards the front. Edited October 10, 2006 by CombatTalon2
Hollister_Hitman
It is or someone had a really bad day at work. If it was for long travel or whatever it would still fit, that arm won't fit. I am going to email janssen motorsports the pics tomorrow and call them. The bottom a-arms fit perfectly on my frame so I don't know what is going on. Does anyone have these a-arms the mx tech ones?
RNBRAD
I have the same arms. The bend goes in the back, the straight angled bar goes in the front. That left arm looks like it would fit perfect if the straight front bar was moved out. I can't see that unit fitting on any quad cause of the extreme angle the heims would be at. Well there may be a quad that has pivot points on the frame that are not in line, one off-set from the other. Though I'm not faimiliar with any. As far as the curve goes i am pretty sure I have them right

Was it hard for you to get those tree metal pieces to fit in between the arm mounts? I got mine in and they won't come out without some pressure. Should they just be able to fall out? RNBRAD
Thanks for the pic. Was it hard for you to get those tree metal pieces to fit in between the arm mounts? I got mine in and they won't come out without some pressure. Should they just be able to fall out? They are a snug fit but if they are too tight you can sand the billet ends a little. They will stay in place once centered and set, even without the bolt.
Hollister_Hitman
I emailed J.Ms the pics and one of the guys looked at them. He said to send the one that looks like it is too short back. I told him that I am sending both of the upper a-arms back because the heim joint on the other one doesn't look right. Then he put me on hold so that he could recheck the pic. He agreed that I need to send both of them back. I asked if he had any red arms in stock, nope. Black? Nope. Then I said "well you are going to order some today right?" He replied " not untill I have yours back here or I get a tracking #". I told him to order them today so that when mine get there they will have the new ones to ship out, I waited 3 weeks for theses f'd up arms. And as far as the tracking goes you send me a ups label because I am not paying for shipping. He was like "ok, I was just going g to reinburst you for shipping". Bull shit. I am going to ship them back today and once they get the new ones in stock I am hopefully going to persuade them to ship em to me overnight! dajogejr
I've learned a long time ago...even if they piss you off to no end, be nice...cordial and polite on the phone. Switch shoes with the tech guy, and if you were given that attitude, how well do you think you'd react. Same goes for eating out at restaurants....even if it is the shitties service, food...etc., be polite until it's time to pay the bill.... Then, do your bargaining....or refuse to eat it, etc.... When I talk to a vendor on the phone, I'm as nice as possible to them....believe me, I get what I want when I want not because I'm being a dick to them. I know it's my money paying their paycheck, but I also know I needed something done, and I called them for that purpose....
Hollister_Hitman
I never used any profanity towards him. He acted like I was stupid so I told him how it was going to work. I would expect a $1400 front end would at least be inspected a little before shipped. I just wantr my a-arms. As far as him getting hosed on a pair of arms...What is anyone going to do with those arms he has seen the pics. Plus he just needs to order the arms now then send them to me when he gets mine. He doesn't have to wait to order them untill he gets mine. They should owe me shipping also, it was their mistake. I'm not a mean guy. I was just really really frustrated yesterday. I would have been an asshole to them had I been able to talk to them yesterday. I know you guys are right about being polite but the guy never once said he apoligizes. How about "We are very sorry for the mistake an we will fix it right away", that would have been nice

They made a mistake, and after you sent the pictures they knew they made the mistake, a nice "I'm sorry for the mixup" would have been nice. I'm with you.... Best of luck, HH....hope it works out for you!
