Banshee_19
I was out trail riding today and got a large log stuck between my A-arm and my tie rod tube bending my tube very bad. I was wondering if anyone has found an aftermarket one that is stronger than an OEM one. And also is there an automotive replacement tie rod end that will fit on a banshee? Bansh-eman
you can go to almost every atv site and they sell them... just make sure you get the right length and not plus 2-3 if you got stockers... link do a shearch for tie rods and it will give you some options
racer
it wouldnt be hard to make a set out of any material you want. i made some tierods last weekend for something else and it was easy. granted they were aluminum, but the hardest part was keeping the bit dead straight by hand for a 1.5inch length. if you have a lathe, they could be done less than an hour from 304SS. my_rocz
If you are worried about strength I would go with the Honda Style- they are solid Rod and the tie rod end screws on- I think Tusk makes the ones i have seen- I was going to go with them but I needed +2 so i used the ones that came with my arms- stronger than stock but not as strong as honda style- RMATV carries them Edited October 10, 2006 by my_rocz
