arlis
Ok for those people out there saying that the la sleeve 409 cylinder can not out perform a cub they are wrong!! I mean yeah a cub is better out of the box but dropping a little bit of money into that cylinder will do wonders for the bike! I just came across dennis packard and he builds his banshee's off of the la sleeve and those are some of the fastest running bikes out there! I was planning on doing a 4mill cub but im going to go for a little more money and get the las cylinder with a 4mill!! wow im excited to get this goin. im not going to build a dragger im going to be building a reliable duner thats going to kick ass!! I think you're 100% correct.... LA Sleeve does make a nice kit...with the right person doing it. However, as you stated...out of the box it's not as good as a cub. Dennis Packard builds some insane shit...no doubt there at all. What truly makes the cub nice is out of the box it runs, and runs hard. It's not the fastest thing in the world, but...they do make pretty good power. There are plenty out there that make a plain ol Jane 350 stock bore/stock stroke bike fast...but, it took them a lot of work! Seems everyone has a cub now a days....but, that should tell you something!
