milo_32000
Got an 02 Banshee, still have the stock clutch perch, would like to replace the stock one with a regular mx bike perch, I still have the old one with the TORS wires intact and the parking brake , the parking brake on the rear is not connected, my question is can I just cut the the wires and be safe in doing this, just want a simple clutch, Thanks for everyone`s help ! ClimbAnyHill
Just remove the entire e brake cable from the perch all the way to the rear end. Remove the eletrical plug from the perch, that cable disconects from a harness under the gas tank. Follow it you'll find it. I replaced with an ASV lever, you can find cheap refurbished on ebay but I should of gone with shorty MSR. My bro has that one and it's alot smoother. Milo_32000 As far as your parking brake goes, you have to keep that circuit complete. The easiest way is to cut the wires and just splice them together. unless I'm mistaken thats all you have to do to replace the perch.
